About SafePak

SafePak is a Pakistan Tourist Survival Kit โ€” built by locals, for foreign visitors. We give you exactly what you need to navigate Islamabad confidently: verified services, real fair prices, community scam alerts, and a 24/7 AI guide trained on Pakistan-specific data.

Why we built this

Most "Pakistan tourism" advice on the internet is years out of date. Uber left Pakistan in 2024. Careem quit ride-hailing in 2025. Recommendations on Reddit and travel blogs still tell visitors to use them.

SafePak solves this. We pull together what apps locals actually use right now, what services are reliable, what each thing should fairly cost, and what scams to avoid โ€” and we keep it current.

What you get

  • โœ“ Verified places: hospitals, ATMs, SIM counters, embassies, hotels in Islamabad
  • โœ“ Real working app links: InDrive, Yango, Bykea, Onic, Foodpanda, JazzCash, NADRA e-Visa, Daraz, Booking.com
  • โœ“ Fair price guide โ€” transport, food, services โ€” with the local rate, not the tourist rate
  • โœ“ Live scam alerts from the community, with severity and location
  • โœ“ 24/7 AI guide that answers questions in plain English
  • โœ“ Emergency directory: police, ambulance, tourist police, embassies, top hospitals
  • โœ“ Survival Urdu phrases with proper pronunciation
  • โœ“ Festival and cultural calendar (Ramadan, Pakistan Day, Independence Day)

Scope

SafePak v1 focuses on Islamabad โ€” the capital, and for most visitors the first stop in Pakistan. We chose depth over breadth: every listed service has been checked, every price is verified, every emergency number works. Lahore, Karachi, Hunza, and Skardu are on the roadmap.
