Getting Around

آمد و رفت

Which apps actually work here, what a fair fare is, and how to leave the city.

Start with the app locals use

Bookme

Pakistan's main ticketing platform: buses, flights, trains and events. Foreign cards are sometimes refused, in which case bus terminals sell the same seats for cash.

We earn nothing from these and hold no partnerships. They are listed because they work.

Chains worth knowing

inDriveNationwide

The largest ride-hailing service in Pakistan. You offer a fare and drivers accept or counter, which works well once you know fair prices.

No fixed upfront price, so check our fair fares first and confirm the amount in chat before boarding.

YangoNationwide

Fixed price shown before you book, English interface, shareable trip tracking. The least stressful option for a first week.

BykeaNationwide

Motorbike taxis that cut through traffic at a fraction of car fares. Also does parcels.

It is a motorbike: skip it in rain, at night on highways, or with luggage. Ask for a helmet.

Bookmeinstead of Omio or TrainlineNationwide

Pakistan's main ticketing platform. Over a hundred bus operators with seat selection, plus flights, trains and events.

International cards are sometimes declined. If payment fails, terminals sell the same seats for cash.

Daewoo ExpressNationwide

The premium intercity bus standard: assigned seats, scheduled departures, secured terminals. Islamabad to Lahore in roughly four and a half hours.

Places in your city

Nothing listed here yet for this city.

We publish a place once a person has checked it, so new cities fill in gradually. The apps and chains above still work everywhere.
