The project aim increase the capacity building of the 300 farmers in friendly and healthy environment, sustainable crop management and reduction of pesticides and women issues, impact pesticides on women and children and advocacy of chemical pollution. The farmers successfully trained and their skills improved on IPM, better crop management, environmental impact, and they aware on pesticides losses in crop, Human, and children, the project successfully completed.

The project main objectives to enhanced the skills and livelihood of the 250 rural small farmers and create the new income generation activities for better livelihood, The IPM activities of safe and healthy crop, proper management of pesticides and crop management for better yield and reduced the cost of production. The farmers successfully trained and their skills improved on IPM, better crop management, environmental impact, and they aware on pesticides losses in crop, Human, and children, home based income generation on self and help basis run and success fully doing well by community and the project successfully completed.
Wheat Varietal Trails FFS run in different location of District Nawabshah Sindh and also trails 1o different varieties of wheat for demonstration purpose in different FFS.

The project was implemented to 1,000 beneficiaries, in Taluka Kandiaro, Noshahro feroze and Taluka Sakrand, District Nawabshah (SBA) with 500 farmers in each. The objectives of Project was to deliver Training to farmers to increase their economic sustainability by increasing the productivity of farmers with smaller inputs, to Increase Environmental Sustainability by water conversation and management, and by Reducing the use of Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides. Besides this, the special focus was on decent work policy, spreading awareness on child labour as defined in ILO convention 138 and 182, children education especially for age group of 6-14 years and increase awareness on health & Safety at Farm level. The farmers successfully trained and they are much familier with pesticides losses in crop, Human, and children and their skills on better crop management, IPM, Environmental impact are enhanced and hence the project is successfully completed.
The Service Provider will deliver a Better Cotton Initiative Program in Sindh, Pakistan for 20881 farmers. It will support CottonConnect in achieving company’s Better Cotton Initiative Program’s programmatic objectives by imparting quality farmers training.
